Columbia web developers can upload a Quicktime or AVI movie to the Brightcove servers, where the file will be converted to Flash (FLV) format. After adding some HTML code to a Collage page the video can be viewed in a web browser; the video is streamed from the Brightcove servers, which provides fast delivery.

iTunes U is a free service from Apple, Inc. which allows Columbia College Chicago to have a public presence in iTunes. This is an excellent way to share Video (MP4, .mov, videocast) or Audio (MP3, podcast) with people all over the world, particularly content that is longer than a few minutes.
