The International Programs office is committed to offering students and faculty opportunities for both academic enhancement and professional development; to cultivate an informed and articulate perspective on world affairs; and to broaden awareness of Columbia's role in the international world of Arts and Media.

- Facilitates Columbia cornerstone college-wide international exchanges with Arts and Media colleges and universities in countries such as France, the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
- Assists Columbia's international departmental programs and field trips.
- Makes world-wide study abroad experiences accessible to every student at Columbia.
- Promotes and assists students with the Fulbright US Student Program.
- Promotes and assists faculty with the Fulbright Scholar Programs.
- Provides faculty opportunities to teach, present, and conduct research abroad.
- Advertises information about Columbia faculty and staff international activities.
